sankeien, a touch of the old

My Mitsui V-Net partner, Motohito Sakai, had suggested we go to Sankeien in Yokohama, since I had wanted to see sights and see nature (as it changes from season to season). We met for an early lunch at Yokohama Station, where he showed me a place that has an awesome chirashizushi at 1000¥.

Afterward, we headed out toward the giant park, and after walking for an eternity from the train station, we came across the gate. It seemed that the park extended onto a large plateau and seemed pretty big. I... was getting tired of walking at that point but continued, because it would've been rude to whine.

It was an extremely large park, with many historical treasures of Japan moved from their original place of construction by a wealthy merchant, I believe during the Meiji Restoration. Overall, the park was nice to walk through, and the bus ride home at the end was very welcome.

By the way, there are a lot of nasty bugs around here... the greatest and freakiest of which was this little bee. By little I mean the length of my forefinger.

But I digress, the park was very relaxing.

After I got back to Yokohama Station, I had some kaitenzushi with Mike and Han. Yum~ Monkfish liver~
